I believe the Bible is the best gift God has ever given to man. All the good from The Savior of the world is communicated to us through this Book.

With firmness in the right, as God gives us to see the right.

And while it has not pleased the Almighty to bless us with a return of peace, we can but press on, guided by the best light He gives, trusting that in His own good time, and wise way, all will yet be well.

If any man tells you he loves America, yet hates labor, he is a liar. If any man tells you he trusts America, yet fears labor, he is a fool.

These capitalists generally act harmoniously and in concert to fleece the people, and now that they have got into a quarrel with themselves, we are called upon to appropriate the people's money to settle the quarrel.

Don't interfere with anything in the Constitution. That must be maintained, for it is the only safeguard of our liberties.
