Lack of wealth cannot take away genuine contentment.

Knowledge come from looking around; wisdom comes from looking up.

Don't make decisions by majority vote. The majority is almost always wrong.

We live by promises not by explanations.

I believe you have to keep the theological standard high; the Lord said, 'Be perfect,' and the leaders have to be striving for that standard with all there is in them.

There must be a law if there is to be liberty. Try to play a piano and you will run into laws as fixed as the decrees of the Medes and Persians. But through those statutes you reach the songs, drudgery leads to delight. The law of Christ brings the liberty of Christ. Keep His statutes, and they become songs. The other side of commandment is conquest. What seems restraint to the outsider means release to you.

You are not saved by the plan of salvation. You are saved by the man of salvation.
