The Christian gospel is a message of freedom through grace and we must stand fast in the liberty wherewith Christ has made us free. But what shall we do with our freedom? The Apostle Paul grieved that some of the believers of his day took advantage of their freedom and indulged the flesh in the name of Christian liberty. They threw off discipline, scorned obedience and made gods of their own bellies.

In Him (God), history and prophecy are one and the same.

It is quite impossible to worship God without loving Him.

We have our ambition for the future and God. And thus we put God as a plus sign after something else we want.

If we take away any of the attributes of God, we do not weaken God but we weaken our concept of God.

Keep my eyes fixed on You, Lord. Help me to stop tinkering and realize my total inability to change. I look to You to change me and give me victory as I focus on Your friendly eyes looking lovingly at me. Amen.

To truly know God we must long for Him without any other motive than reaching God Himself.
