Any spirit that permits compromise with the world is a false spirit. Any religious movement that imitates the world in any of its manifestations is false to the cross of Christ and on the side of the devil.

Faith is a re-directing of our sight, a getting out of the focus of our own vision and getting God into focus.

We modern Christians are long on talk and short on conduct.

There is no fear in love, but perfect love casteth out fear. Fear is a painful emotion that arises at the thought that we may be harmed or made to suffer. As long as we must trust for survival to our ability to out look or out maneuver the enemy, we have every good reason to be afraid. Fear is torment. To know that love is of God and to enter into the secret place leaning upon the arm of the Beloved, this and only this can cast out fear.

Distractions must be conquered or they will conquer us. So let us cultivate simplicity; let us walk in the Spirit.

I can trust the One who has my best interest in mind.

We have learned to live with unholiness and have come to look upon it as the natural and expected thing.
