Any sermon that is not birthed in prayer is not a message from God no matter how learned the preacher.

God will not hold us responsible to understand the mysteries of election, predestination, and the divine sovereignty. The best and safest way to deal with these truths is to raise our eyes to God and in deepest reverence say, "0 Lord, Thou knowest." Those things belong to the deep and mysterious Profound of God's omniscience. Prying into them may make theologians, but it will never make saints.

Go to church once a week and nobody pays attention. Worship God seven days a week and you become strange!

Faith creates nothing; it simply reckons upon that which is already there.

Our pursuit of God is successful just because He is forever seeking to manifest Himself to us.

Retire from the world each day to some private spot. Stay in the secret place till the surrounding noises begin to fade out of your heart and a sense of God's presence envelops you. Deliberately tune out the unpleasant sounds and come out of your closet determined not to hear them. Listen for the inward voice till you learn to recognize it.

Keep your heart with all diligence and God will take care of the universe.
