Jesus Christ never thinks about what we have been! He always thinks about what we are going to be.

What else should we do with the Word of God but obey?

The meek man will attain a place of soul rest. As he walks on in meekness he will be happy to let God defend him. The old struggle to defend himself is over. He has found the peace which meekness brings.

Everything God does has purpose and intention behind that design. It is a master design, and every little thing has its proper place and function.

Nothing bothers the devil more than a Christian delighting in God’s presence.

Believing was not a once-done act; it was more than an act, it was an attitude of heart and mind which inspired and enabled the believer to take up his cross and follow the Lamb whithersoever He went.
