What I am anxious to see in Christian believers is a beautiful paradox. I want to see in them the joy of finding God while at the same time they are blessedly pursuing Him. I want to see in them the great joy of having God yet always wanting Him.

To be effective the preacher's message must be alive; it must alarm, arouse, challenge; it must be God's present voice to a particular people.

If I empty out half of my life, God can only fill half...God will fill as much of us as we allow Him to fill.

I can safely say, on the authority of all that is revealed in the Word of God, that any man or woman on this earth who is bored and turned off by worship is not ready for heaven.

God's mercy is boundless, free and, through Jesus Christ our Lord, available to us now in our present situation.

It is dangerous to be so busy that you have no time to wait on God.
