Without doubt the emphasis in Christian teaching today should be on worship. There is little danger that we shall become merely worshipers and neglect the practical implications of the gospel. No one can long worship God in spirit and in truth before the obligation to holy service becomes too strong to resist. Fellowship with God leads straight to obedience and good works. That is the divine order and it can never be reversed.

To expose our hearts to truth and consistently refuse or neglect to obey the impulses it arouses is to stymie the motions of life within us and, if persisted in, to grieve the Holy Spirit into silence.

When we yield ourselves completely to God, He gives Himself completely to us.

Faith in God is to be demonstrated, not defined.

Before there can be fullness there must be emptiness. Before God can fill us with Himself we must first be emptied of ourselves.

Don't allow false modesty,doubts or unbelief prevent you from accepting God's favor. The door of mercy stands wide open.

Our gifts and talents should also be turned over to Him. They should be recognized for what they are, God's loan to us, and should never be considered in any sense our own
