Ian MacKaye was in London while I was living there. We both decided that even though we had very different lifestyles, we had the same mentality - politically, and in a lot of other different ways. His statement was, "We're going to the same place, except you're taking a taxi, and I'm driving my own car." That's me and Ian MacKaye's relationship. I love him, he's great.
Al JourgensenI got my influences from 70s bands - Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, blah blah blah. When I was growing up, we had all these crazy bands on the Top 40. Today, if Pink Floyd released "Money", it wouldn't even get played.
Al JourgensenI'm male gigolo. Professionally? I don't think I've ever done anything professionally.
Al JourgensenRock n Roll Animal, the live album, is one of the greatest live albums out there. It was a huge influence on me.
