I would suggest that today, we know about as much concerning the human mind as we knew about the galaxy in 1300.

We do not "come into" this world; we come out of it, as leaves from a tree.

We cannot be more sensitive to pleasure without being more sensitive to pain.

It is hard indeed to notice anything for which the languages available to us have no description.

Zen is a liberation from time. For if we open our eyes and see clearly, it becomes obvious that there is no other time than this instant, and that the past and the future are abstractions without any concrete reality.

But at any rate, the point is that God is what nobody admits to being, and everybody really is. If you awaken from this illusion, and you understand that black implies white, self implies other, life implies death - or shall I say, death implies life - you can conceive yourself.

Life and Reality are not things you can have for yourself unless you accord them to all others. They do not belong to particular persons any more than the sun, moon and stars.
