We should get into the habit of reading inspirational books, looking at inspirational pictures, hearing inspirational music, associating with inspirational friends.

In Texas, years ago, almost all of the oil came from surface operations. Then someone got the idea that there were greater sources of supply deeper down. A well was drilled five thousand feet deep. The result? A gusher. Too many of us operate on the surface. We never go deep enough to find supernatural resources. The result is, we never operate at our best. More time and investment is involved to go deep but a gusher will pay off.

It is foolish to wait for your ship to come in unless you have sent one out.

If you don't have solid beliefs, you cannot build a stable life. Beliefs are like the foundation of a building, and they are the foundation to build your life upon.

The only calendar I need is just outside my window. With eyes to see and ears to hear, nature keeps me posted.

Your life will be no better than the plans you make and the action you take. You are the architect and builder of your own life, fortune, destiny.

Don't dodge difficulties; meet them, greet them, beat them. All great men have been through the wringer.
