As human beings we're so cynical, so uncompassionate.

When you're offered things, it makes it so much easier to be indecisive. And it's silly because you can pass on some really amazing things.

Not that I say,"Oh,I'm not going to associate with certain people.," but I have my world,and I only want to be around people who I feel stimulated by. I have to be honest I do have a new quest: I want to meet more vegetarians,people who are more like minded. There's something real neat about that feeling. It makes you feel so settled to know there's somebody else sitting right there,being so passionate about what I'm passionate about. I don't want to be around selfish people. I try to keep myself surrounded by deep people who will move me.

I think people want love in their lives.

I like it all. I love getting inside of people's heads and playing what drives people and what makes them do what they do. That's always been what's most interesting to me about being an actor. The analyzing of what's happening, but even more so, just letting it all go and playing is fun. I love just seeing what comes out of you.

I didn't want to get married - I thought it was like a cult! It seemed so conservative and unnatural.

I think any time anybody says something nasty about you, it's hard to deal with it.
