I'm not very enthusiastic about smaller nations forming their own states, particularly those in the West, where they would, after gaining 'independence', remain in the alliances that are oppressing and plundering the entire world: like NATO or the European Union. The breaking of the great country of Yugoslavia into small pieces was a hostile, evil design by the West. The dissolution of Czechoslovakia after the so-called "Velvet Revolution" was a total idiocy. But Catalonia, if it became independent, would become one of the richest parts of Europe.

You give Europeans once again 'all benefits that they can eat', you make them work shorter hours, and you give more money, and they'd be back in a self-congratulatory, self-righteous mode; damned be the rest of the world.

The West is supporting, even financing the right-wing media, it is financing 'the opposition', encourages capital flight of billions of dollars, works closely with the local 'elites' to create 'deficits', 'uncertainty' and despair. It creates corruption scandals, and it even supports fake 'left' anti-government movements. And of course it is training and corrupting some key military cadres.

China is one of the greatest cultures on Earth, and it is one of those countries that suffered immensely from colonialist horrors and humiliation.

In Indonesia, there are many parties, but they are all pro-business and for the elites, and all their candidates, including Jokowi, are pre-selected, and pre-approved, by the regime. So no matter how people vote here, it changes nothing.

Now, the Chinese people are outraged and they are sending clear signals to Beijing: "do not succumb to the West." "If you do, our nation will suffer immensely, and the rest of the world will turn to ashes."

There is only one real 'risk' and danger regarding the nuclear escalation in North Korean: that the world is quickly accepting as inevitable the fact that the Western thuggish regimes can get away with anything. I see no other serious problem that the world today is facing. What is Kim Jong-un's strategy? To defend his people by all means, against the brutal force that has already murdered millions of people of Korea. It is all very simple, but only if one is willing to turn off the BBC and to use his or her own brain, it becomes 'obvious'.
