I'm grateful to have gone through so many different seasons of life because without those years of searching, I'd still have no idea who I am and what Andrew Ripp really has to say.

I'm in a place where the audience doesn't have control over my love for the music. In the past I was waiting on the reaction of the fans to tell me whether or not I had a great record based on how they'd respond.

"Animal" is my favorite song because it's a reminder for me every night when I step on to stage that I am no longer a slave to fear. It's something I need to be reminded of constantly because fear is relentless. It will always continue to swing at me and this song is my armor and defense. It's my anthem in a sense to say fear will not hinder me anymore.

I'm trying my best to sound like me rather than trying my best to write hits or praying to God that people respond. I've arrived in a very healthy place and it feels great!
