I never advocate that you should be lonely, or come to my shows and bring me your razor blade to show me that you don't cut anymore.

Me personally, I side more with punk rock bands. I grew up with The Misfits, The Dead Boys, The Damned, Dropkick Murphys, and early AFI. That was the stuff that really got me into music. Song writing wise, bands like Alkaline Trio were very important to me for beginning to write songs.

And the people who say things to you about the way you look and the way you dress, they have nothing more to their lives. That's all they do, and you have something more in you.

Without someone telling you what you are doing is wrong, you can't say what you are doing is right.

As we grow up we learn that even the person that wasnt supposed to ever let you down probably will. You will have your heart broken probably more than once and it gets harder every time. You'll break hearts too, so remember how it felt when yours was broken. You'll fight with your best friend. You'll blame a new love for things an old one did. You'll cry because time is passing too fast, and youll eventually lose someone you love, so take many pictures, laugh too much and love like you've never been hurt because every sixty seconds you spend upset is one minute of happiness you'll never get back.

Take joy in who you are, we know our wings are flawed.

I would advocate that you show me your smiling face, and how happy you can make your life.
