Time spent in prayer will yield more than that given to work. Prayer alone gives work its worth and its success. Prayer opens the way for God Himself to do His work in us and through us. Let our chief work as God's messengers be intercession; in it we secure the presence and power of God to go with us.
Andy MurrayI first had money for investment just at the time of the 2008 crisis and shares have been highly volatile since then. So I do have shares in my pension but I have tended to invest in specific projects that include property and private companies that have been very well researched by my advisers.
Andy MurrayI've realised over the years I play my best when I have time to prepare for each tournament as best as possible.
Andy MurraySince there are a wide range of entrepreneurs fundraising at any given time, I looked at each opportunity as it has arisen and on its own merits. Then I've sat down with my financial advisers, we've looked at the numbers and gone for the businesses I believe have real potential.
Andy MurrayPeople think I am unemotional because my voice is flat and a bit boring. It is unfortunate but it is just the way it is. I've tried to change it but it doesn't seem to make a difference. The truth is, I have lots of emotions inside. I cried after the semi-final at Wimbledon [2012] because I was proud to reach the final and I knew how much it meant to the country. I cried after the [losing] final [to Federer], too, for different reasons. I felt I had let people down. I think people warmed to that. They could see how much it hurt.
