There is an appropriate way to use your story, not as an excuse but as a testimony to God's ability to free you from the past.

Progress requires change.

Personal Vision is often the catalyst for wise decisions.

Authority does not equal competency.

Leaders make things better and that requires change.

It's OK to offend people with the Gospel, but, good grief- let's don't offend them with something else.

I've concluded that while nobody plans to mess up their life, the problem is that a few of us plan not to. That is, we don't put the necessary safeguards in place to ensure a happy ending.
