Leadership is stewardship, it's temporary and you're accountable!

Try to do for the next generation of church leaders what the previous generation of church leaders has not done for you.

Guys that preach verse-by-verse through books of the Bible - that is just cheating. It's cheating because that would be easy, first of all. That isn't how you grow people. No one in the Scripture modeled that.

A leader should never risk their ability to make a difference by making an unnecessary point.

When people are convinced you want something FOR them rather than something FROM them, they are less likely to be offended when you challenge them.

I'm concerned about the plight of children. But I'm not on a mission to get all the available orphans in the world adopted into Christian homes.

Progress requires change.
