When I first went to places where people were suffering from war and persecution, I felt ashamed of my feelings of sadness. I could see more possibilities in my life.

If you ask people what they've always wanted to do, most people haven't done it. That breaks my heart.

I've been fortunate in that I've been able to have that balance as an actress to be able to do the wild, fun action movies and also be allowed to do the dramas. Hopefully, if I'm able to keep that balance, I'd love to always try to do both.

What's risky is living your life and never trying for anything and never doing something brave and never getting yourself scared.

This script was just so much smarter than usual and I'm just fascinated by human behavior.
