I do think that there is pressure in various constituencies to reject the president.

The President of the United States again, whether you guys like the guy, you dislike the guy, he's the smartest person that I've ever worked for. So let Vanity Fair write about that, I honestly don't care. He has intuition, he has judgement and he has a temperament in a way that I have never seen.

You have to take calculated risks in life.

There are people inside the administration that think it is their job to save America from the President. That is not their job. Their job is to inject this President into America so that he can explain his views properly and his policies so that we can transform America and drain the swamp and make the system fairer for the middle and lower income people.

I'm not a typical Republican. I am a Republican, I wear the Republican jersey, I've been a Republican my whole life. My dad was a Republican, which is interesting because he was in a union early on. The Republican party was very strong in the area that I grew up in. So I'm a loyalist.

Donald Trump's message to people is that he's a disruptive force that can descend into Washington as a nonpolitician and try to change some of the morass that happens in Washington.

The reason why Donald Trump does have a very strong base of popularity is he's an authentic person and not necessarily a politician.
