When you build a career, you should never imitate anybody.

I knew I was a winner back in the late sixties. I knew I was destined for great things. People will say that kind of thinking is totally immodest. I agree. Modesty is not a word that applies to me in any way - I hope it never will.

I will not fail, I will not disappoint you, I will not let you down.

Politically there were failures. And also on the personal level, there were tremendous failures.

I was always dreaming about very powerful people. Dictators and things like that. I was always impressed by people who could be remembered for hundreds of years. Even like Jesus, being remembered for thousands of years.

I really like Thanksgiving turkey... it does not take only time in Houston that you look at natural breasts.

You know, nothing is more important than education, because nowhere are our stakes higher; our future depends on the quality of education of our children today.
