You can't expect anything to be handed to you. And I learned that.

I think that's the most important thing-two things really, have fun and be yourself.

When I was younger I didn't want to listen to anybody, but now more than ever where I am in my life I understand how important it is to listen, observe, absorb, and let that all come out through your music.

I really care about where things are going. I care about what people are feeling and I like to ask the question why.

Holding onto negativity makes you sick, I strongly believe that. So I release negativity by writing.

I don't really step out the house trying to make a fashion statement. I step out the house making sure I'm comfortable.
