I only toured for three months. As soon as I got off [tour], I was just dying to start recording, because it was on my mind: 'I've got to make another record now.' And I was totally excited.

You get built up and put on a pedestal and then people want to bring you down. It can be hurtful. Some people try to make me look bad or not a nice person but it's completely false.

When I was 2 my mom said she knew I was going to be a singer. I`ve been performing ever since I was a young kid. So I`ve known I wanted to do this for awhile. I always knew in my heart that I`d be singing.

I didn't just write about boys and relationships like usual. I wrote about other things: rock 'n' roll, nostalgia, Hello Kitty.

And you fall, and you crawl, and you break, what you get, and you turn it into honesty and promise you're never going to find you're faking, no no no.
