If we're going to prevent people from being susceptible to the false promises of extremism, then the international community has to offer something better and the United States intends to do its part.

Today, our scientists are mapping the human brain to unlock the answers to Alzheimer's... Now is not the time to gut these job-creating investments in science and innovation. Now is the time to reach a level of research and development not seen since the height of the Space Race.

I think it was not a bad idea to wrap Barack Obama in the mantle of Teddy Roosevelt. He`s been assuming a sort of progressive mantle, and he ticked off some large and systemic problems that this country faces.
