This week I've travelled more than 15,000 miles from America to China to Burma to Australia. I have no idea what time it is right now.
Barack ObamaWe have to make sure America writes the rules of the global economy, and we should do it today while our economy is in the position of global strength, because if we don't write the rules for trade around the world, guess what: China will.
Barack ObamaWe can seize this future together because we are not as divided as our politics suggests.
Barack ObamaPut simply, what I'd like to do is to see the first two years of community college free for everybody's who is willing to work for it.
Barack ObamaOne of the things I think we have to do is make sure that college is affordable for every young person in America. And I also think that we're going to have to rebuild our infrastructure, which is falling behind, our roads, our bridges, but also broadband lines that reach into rural communities. So there are some things that we've got to do structurally to make sure that we can compete in this global economy. We can't shortchange those things. We've got to eliminate programs that don't work, and we've got to make sure that the programs that we do have are more efficient and cost less.
