When Lebanon started its resistance it was a small and divided country.

Israel has WMD, and it has to sign [chemical warfare agreement], and Israel is occupying our land, so that's we talked about the Middle East, not Syria, not Israel ; it should be comprehensive.

[Peace in Syria] is [António Guterres] priority, and of course it's our priority, that's self-evident.

We are against any WMD, any weapons of mass destruction, whether chemical or nuclear.

We, in Syria, our point of view stems from our experience.

History teaches us that nobody can prevent a resistance group from arming when it has the support of the people.
