I think a part of it was the way my parents raised me. I think that's part of being raised in a big Latin family. To get an adult's attention you have to do something crazy, and my way was dancing on tables and singing and dancing. That was my way of getting everyone's attention. I'm loud and I like being loud.

I've always had an itch for acting and a passion for acting, but never really got to dabble into it too much, and now I can say I'm officially an acrtress.

Growing up, you're told there are things you're not capable of doing because you're a girl. That perception's starting to change and it's amazing. It's important that we continue to share the message with other young women. If they grow up in a household or go to a school where they're told that they can't do certain things, it's important that they hear from someone that it is possible to do whatever they want with their lives.

Giving back is the right thing to do, whether it's donating clothing or even just a smile to someone who needs it.

That's the thing about acting is that it's reacting to what's going on around you.

People should accept themselves for who they really are and be proud of that and take ownership of that first and learn that self love to really be happy.

Never let the negativity get to you. There are gonna be a lot of people you have to plow through, but as long as you believe in yourself, that's all that matters.
