You know, many people have said that I'm on the edge and I'm maverick for some of the big operations that I've done. I'm not at all. I pray; I ask God to give me wisdom, 'Should I do it?', guidance in terms of how to do it, who to consult with. All those kind of things are incredibly important.

I'd like to be remembered as someone who got others to recognize the potential that was within them.

I feel very blessed to have been involved with some of the most complex surgical procedures in the history of the world.

To THINK BIG and to use our talents doesn't mean we won't have difficulties along the way. We will - we all do... If we choose to see the obstacles in our path as barriers, we stop trying. "We can't win," we moan. "They won't let us win."

I don't think really conservative or liberal; I think what makes sense.

This is a country for, of, and by the people not for, of, and by the government. If we turn it over to them we cannot complain about what they're doing because this is a natural course of men and we have to hold their feet to the fire.

People are starving for that coming out of Washington. And it's not a Democrat thing or a Republican thing. I think it's a politician thing.
