What I saw in Baltimore was distressing and it tells me we need stronger policies in this country.

When we do that we not only make our country more productive and efficient, we create millions of new jobs.

We are imprisoning or giving jail sentences to young people who are smoking marijuana.

Super PACs and a corrupt campaign finance system are destroying American democracy. We're proud that we have received four million individual contributions, more than any candidate in American history at this point.

The truth is we have a political system and an economic system controlled by a few extremely wealthy people. Not Barack Obama, not Bernie Sanders, no one person has the influence by himself or herself to take on this enormous array of power unless millions of people begin to work together to demand changes.

I think people have a right to speak. And you have a right if you're on a college campus not to attend. You have a right to ask hard questions about the speaker if you disagree with him or her.
