The middle class in America is at a tipping point. It will not last another generation if we don't boldly change course now.

I do believe that we should substantially lower student debt in this country, which is crushing millions of people. We pay for it, in my view, by a tax on Wall Street speculation. The middle class bailed out Wall Street in their time of need. Now, it is Wall Street's time to help the middle class.

Today, over half of American workers have less than $10,000 in savings and have no idea how they will be able to retire with any shred of dignity.

I supported Barack Obama originally. I supported him for reelection and the alternative of a Mitt Romney is very, very clear to everybody. And I think the president has done a good job in a number of areas. But one area that has concerned me from day one has been his reliance on Wall Street type people in terms of financial matters.

I come from a rural state. People drive 50, 100 miles to and from work every single day. That is true all over America.

I believe in public funding of elections, absolutely. But this system iscurrently very antiquated and no longer applies to modern day politics.

What I believe is that the United States is going to be playing on a level playing field in dealing with Israel and the Palestinian people. I am 100 percent pro Israel in the sense of Israel's right to exist, I lived in Israel, I have family in Israel, Israel has the right to live not only in peace and security, but to know that their very existence will be protected by the United States government.
