The good news is that the American people, not just the African-American community are saying enough is enough. You can`t hold people in custody and suddenly find out that they are dead. You can`t shoot people in the back.

It's absurd we remain the only major country on earth not to guarantee health care to all people and paid family and medical leave.

Corporations can't have it both ways. They can't tell Americans how much they want us to buy their products, but then run abroad to avoid taxes or hire cheap labor. American corporations should pay their fair share of taxes and create decent-paying jobs here - not in China.

Every decision that Donald Trump makes is going to impact his bottom line of some business that he owns all over the world. So it remains a huge issue.

To the degree that Mr. Trump is serious about pursuing policies that improve the lives of working families in America, I and other progressives are prepared to work with him. To the degree that he pursues racist, sexist, xenophobic and anti-environment policies, we will vigorously oppose him.
