I'm not going to change. Why would I change? I don't tweet like Donald Trump. I'm not on Facebook. I should amend that. I don't attack people using tweets, and I don't do the Facebook and I'm not going to - that's not my job.
Bill O'ReillyUnlike abortion nobody gets hurt when gays marry but it does have deep implications for what kind of society we want to be. Therefore, individual states should decide the question.
Bill O'ReillyThe truth is that many powerful guys have fooled around while working for the people. Dwight Eisenhower, John F. Kennedy, and Warren Harding to name just a few. Grover Cleveland even fathered a child outside of marriage. We all know these things happen. But we don't want them to happen - at least most of us don't. I can't speak for San Francisco.
Bill O'ReillyOn the foreign policy front, Barack Obama is not a confrontational man. He stayed away from all confrontations, and you can look and see what happened overseas. It's a mess everywhere. So he made major mistakes, major policy mistakes. Those mistakes are not going to be forgiven by history.
Bill O'ReillyYour mom was right when she told you never to discuss politics and religion because emotions run so high in those arenas. Especially religion.
Bill O'ReillyTo this culture warrior, gay marriage is not a vital issue. I don't believe the republic will collapse if Larry marries Brendan. However, it is clear that most Americans want heterosexual marriage to maintain its special place in American society. And as long as gays are not penalized in the civil arena, I think the folks should make the call at the ballot box. Traditional marriage is widely seen as a social stabilizer, and I believe that is true.
