In a country where Christians were looked upon with suspicion and disfavor, a government leader said to me with a twinkle in his eye, 'Christians seem to thrive under persecution. Perhaps we should prosper them, and then they would disappear.'

We hurt people by being too busy. Too busy to notice their needs. Too busy to drop that note of comfort or encouragement or assurance of love. Too busy to listen when someone needs to talk. Too busy to care.

Don't let circumstances distress you. Rather, look for the will of God for your life to be revealed in and through those circumstances.

I don't go out and preach because of my desire as much as I go out to fulfill the command of Christ. He said, "Go!" to all of His disciples, and we're to go and witness to Christ by the way we live and by our verbal witness about the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ and about the need to repent and believe. I've never had any doubts about my call.

God does not change - and neither does His love. He loved you before you were born... He loves you now... and He will love you forever.

Salvation is free! God puts no price tag on the Gift of gifts.

All around you are people whose lives are filled with trouble and sorrow, and they need your compassion and encouragement.
