God has not promised to bless my thoughts, but He has promised to bless His Word.

Becoming a Christian is the work of a moment; being a Christian is the work of a lifetime.

The family should be a closely knit group. The home should be a self-contained shelter of security; a kind of school where life's basic lessons are taught; and a kind of church where God is honored; a place where wholesome recreation and simple pleasures are enjoyed.

Only when Christ comes again will the little white children of Alabama walk hand in hand with little black children.

God proved His love on the Cross. When Christ hung, and bled, and died, it was God saying to the world, 'I love you.'

And all of a sudden, all of my sins came before me. Everything I had ever done wrong that I had forgotten about years ago came into my mind. And I prayed, Lord, forgive me, may the blood of Jesus Christ cleanse me from all of my sins... not because of my good works or because of all the things I have tried to do, but because the Lord had forgiven me.

In some Churches today and on some religious television programs, we see the attempt to make Christianity popular and pleasant. We have taken the cross away and substituted cushions.
