Prayer never works for me on the golf course. That may have something to do with my being a terrible putter.

I just want to lobby for God.

There are people that say they will do better but they never do better. They have no power in them to do better until they come to Christ.

Why should we give God thanks? Because everything we have comes from God.

I am constantly concerned about being quoted in the press and perhaps saying the wrong thing or having what I say misinterpreted and bringing reproach to the name of Christ. People do not come to hear what Billy Graham has to say; they want to hear what God has to say. Jesus tells us not to be misled by the voices of strangers. There are so many strange voices being heard in the religious world of our day. We must compare what they say with the Word of God.

It's no secret that in New York during the last 30 years there has been a tragic exodus from the churches into materialism, secularism and humanism.

The only time my prayers are never answered is on the golf course.
