Prayer is the rope that pulls God and man together. But, it doesn't pull God down to us: It pulls us up to Him.

I'm against divorce. I think the Bible teaches that divorce is wrong, but at the same time, I also believe that the Bible has a leave way; Jesus said that a person should not be divorced and should not be separated. But in the Old Testament, men could have more than one wife under certain circumstances. And there must be reasons for that. And I think that some of them are valid reasons.

Comfort and prosperity have never enriched the world as much as adversity has.

Hot heads and cold hearts never solved anything.

I believe the home and marriage is the foundation of our society and must be protected.

Even when life may be difficult, we should thank God for all He does for us-which we do not deserve.

World travel and getting to know clergy of all denominations has helped mold me into an ecumenical being. We're separated by theology and, in some instances, culture and race, but all that means nothing to me any more.
