Life itself, every bit of health that we enjoy, every hour of liberty and free enjoyment, the ability to see, to hear, to speak, to think, and to imagine- all this comes from the hand of God. We show our gratitude by giving back to Him a part of that which He has given to us.

In my family we got up in the mornings around three o'clock and went out to the barns to bring the cows in and milk. In high school I milked about twenty cows every morning and about twenty in the afternoon when I got home. I have wonderful memories from those early days when my parent's influence was so strong.

Don't let circumstances distress you. Rather, look for the will of God for your life to be revealed in and through those circumstances.

Evil is real - but so is God's power and love.

Robots do not love. God created us with the capacity to love. Love is based upon one's right to choose to love. We cannot force others to love us. We can make them serve us or obey us. But true love is founded upon one's freedom to choose to respond.

Jesus had a humble heart. If He abides in us, pride will never dominate our lives.

I'm glad to know that we do have political leaders that believe in God, and that has been true from the days of George Washington.
