It may not necessarily be the way I would like to see it happen, but the reality is we could still bring millions of people out of the darkness into the light.

This is the United States of America. It means we respond to our fellow Americans in times of crisis and emergency and disaster.

Theres a difference between, as I always say, the destination, the end point, and the journey. The journey has a lot of twists and turns. It isnt always pretty.

We have a ways to go here, but elections have consequences ... I think that our Republican colleagues, the Republican National Party, understands this is our new demographic in America as a result of the election. I think they understand if they want to be a national party, they're going to have to deal with this issue. For Latinos and other immigrants, this is the civil rights issue of our time.

We believe very passionately that an international approach is necessary to achieve some of these goals.

We should seek international support for our mutual objectives abroad, in promoting freedom, democracy, respect for human rights, and also the elimination of weapons of mass destruction.

There isn't any air power in the world that can take care of the problem of sectarian divisions.
