I feel quite sad for the young musicians coming up because they may never get to pay their rent properly. It doesn't matter what the genre; nowadays, it's so much harder than it ever was.

What's happened is that the digital age has made photography more accessible to people. Everyone is a photographer. But to do it [photography] at a certain level, well, there's a skill to it. Still, it's a good time for photography now.

And I thought well, if Tina Turner can go up there and she can give everything for 500 people, no matter how sick I am, I can make it happen too.

Thoughts of doubt and fear are pathways to failure. When you conquer negative attitudes of doubt and fear you conquer failure.

Like attracts like. Whatever the conscious mind thinks and believes. the subconscious identically creates.

It cuts like a knife, but it feels so right.

I remember being in Hollywood at the age of 16 and marveling at the stars. The idea of being part of it never entered my mind. It was too far-fetched.
