Everything good is costly, and the development of personality is one of the most costly of all things. It is a matter of saying yes to oneself, of taking oneself as the most serious of tasks, of being conscious of everything one does, and keeping it constantly before one's eyes in all its dubious aspects.

Even the enlightened person remains what he is, and is never more than his own limited ego before the One who dwells within him, whose form has no knowable boundaries, who encompasses him on all sides, fathomless as the abysms of the earth and vast as the sky

Sensation tell us a thing is. Thinking tell us what it is this thing is. Feeling tells us what this thing is to us.

Life is something that has to be lived and not talked about.

The decisive question for man is: Is he related to something infinite or not? That is the telling question of his life.
