Passion is the very fuel of inspiration.

Survival in more primitive ages required constant alertness, but survival in today's mechanized world almost demands that we turn off our senses. In urban life especially, there is too much to see, hear and smell.

There is value in being free and spontaneous but the greatest power comes from seeing and using what results from that freedom.

I believe that every artist has his or her own vision of the world; our job as artists is to find and express that vision. The most important thing is to keep exploring, yourself and your materials.
