Family and friends and Rene and the pregnancy fulfilled me with so much love.

If you follow your dreams, it means you follow your heart. If you do follow your heart, I don't think you can go wrong.

As a singer, I've had many opportunities to travel, and one thing I've learned is that through my music, I can be accepted by people all over the world. I often wonder why so many of us can't accept people who are different here, in our country? It's just not fair to be prejudiced against those whose race, religion or colour aren't the same as ours.

What do you say to taking chances?

I'm not in competition with anybody but myself. My goal is to beat my last performance.

I was not a good-lookin' girl. I was extremely skinny. I wasn't pretty. I wasn't cool.

I'm in shock. Whitney was such an amazing artist. When I started my English career, I wanted to be like her. I loved her so much. My prayers go out to her daughter and to all of her family.
