There cannot be heaven without Christ. He is the sum total of bliss; the fountain from which heaven flows, the element of which heaven is composed. Christ is heaven and heaven is Christ.

Let me revel in this one thought: before God made the heavens and the earth, He set His love upon me.

The granting of prayer, when offered in the name of Jesus, reveals the Father's love to him, and the honor which he has put upon him.

God is too good to be unkind and He is too wise to be mistaken. And when we cannot trace His hand, we must trust His heart. When you are so weak that you cannot do much more than cry, you coin diamonds with both your eyes. The sweetest prayers God ever hears are the groans and sighs of those who have no hope in anything but his love.

Known to the Lord from the beginning were all your sins. Nevertheless, He still loved you.

You must either give up your sins or give up all hope of heaven.

If you are saved, the work is only half done until you are employed to bring others to Christ.
