He is ready to cleanse you, It is sin, after all, that lies at the door and blocks you way to the Savior.

Grace does not choose a man and leave him as he is.

I cannot conceive of a greater wounding of the heart of Christ than to pay reverence to anything in the shape of a cross, or to bow before a crucifix!

Think not of the sinner or the greatness of his sin, but think of the greatness of the Savior!

The first thing in faith is knowledge. What we know we must also agree unto. What we agree unto we must rest upon alone for salvation. It will not save me to know that Christ is a Saviour; but it will save me to trust Him to be my Saviour.

It is not humility to underrate yourself. Humility is to think of yourself as God thinks of you. It is to feel that if we have talents God has given them to us. And let it be seen that, like freight in a vessel, they tend to sink us low. The more we have, the lower we ought to lie.

Sometimes we think we are too busy to pray. That is a great mistake, for praying is a saving of time.
