Faith is the accepting of what God gives. Faith is the believing what God says. Faith is the trusting to what Jesus has done. Only do this and you are saved, as surely as you are alive!

A high character might be produced, I suppose, by continued prosperity, but it has very seldom been the case. It should be no ambition of ours to traverse a path without a thorn or stone.
