Let us unite the two so long divided, knowledge and vital piety.

Come, thou long expected Jesus, born to set thy people free; from our fears and sins release us; let us find our rest in thee. Israel's strength and consolation, hope of all the earth thou art, dear desire of every nation, joy of every longing heart.

Expand Thy wings, celestial Dove, brood o'er our nature's night; on our disordered spirits move, and let there now be light.

Jesus, Thou art all compassion, pure unbounded love Thou art; Visit us with Thy salvation, enter every trembling heart.

Our children will grow up confused, not respecting the Bible or anything else that is sacred.

A charge to keep I have, A God to glorify; A never dying soul to save, And fit it for the sky.

I feel a strong immortal hope, which bears my mournful spirit up beneath its mountain load; redeemed from death, and grief, and pain, I soon shall find my [child] again within the arms of God.
