Before, shortstops and second basemen were mostly defensive guys that made all the plays and didn't really hit that well. But now it's beginning to change a little bit. Now, shortstops and second basemen are very productive in terms of run producing.

I didn't go up to the plate thinking, 'OK, my goal now is to get a hit'-I tried not to think about [the streak].

I figured out that there are occasions where you have to get pumped up and take charge, situations where you have to have fun and situations where you need to settle down.

Hitting at the top of the order is a good thing. You get more at-bats. I'm excited to see how this develops.

I know it sounds stupid and cliche, but I just want to get better. I want to keep improving.

You try to take it game-to-game and keep working.

I've always been taught to play the game hard. Baseball is such a tough game, it really humbles you at times, you just have to try not to get too high or too low.
