Just because a woman has a pimp doesn't necessarily mean that she's being abused by the guy. You can't know for sure.

I was looking to do something non-fiction because I had done a strip, 'My Mom Was a Schizophrenic.' I really enjoyed the process of doing that strip, despite its subject matter. To do it I'd had to do a lot of research and reading and I figured I'd like to do that again.

I don't think our system, where we have one romantic partner, where we get married and we're only supposed to have sex with one person - that doesn't make a lot of sense. When you're in a relationship, the dynamic seems to change over time. I only had two long-term girlfriends, but with both of them, as time went on, the sex tapered off in terms of frequency.
