If you must begin then go all the way, because if you begin and quit, the unfinished business you have left behind begins to haunt you all the time.

Self-consciousness inhibits this intelligent, balanced state of being. By opening, by dropping our self-conscious grasping, we see not only the surface of an object, but we see the whole way through.
