I'd told Taker before the promo that I was gonna stick it to him and he told me to go for it. However, I crossed the line and insulted him by saying what I said. I can't believe the lack of respect I showed him and so many of the other guys in the locker room during my first month in the company, especially since I knew how important the hierarchy of the business was (and still is). Respect your elders.
Chris JerichoI want TNA to grow as a company, itโs better for me as a performer and me as a businessman. But how can they grow if every chance they get they are constantly talking about up north and the WWE?
Chris JerichoLive events are notorious for being pressure free. Stress free. It's all about just doing the match. Doing what you feel.
Chris JerichoI didn't understand at the time why Vince was so interested in teaching me life lessons when all I was trying to do was get my video played. But now I think it's because he saw a little bit of himself in me. Just like me, he was a rebel who listened to no one and did whatever it took to get the job done, pissing people off with his stubbornness and drive in the process. Therefore, he was trying to teach me how to better myself instead of repeatedly getting into trouble by rubbing people the wrong way.
